Jacksons had out grown their existing telephone system. It was also hard to make amendments to and didn’t have the flexibility needed in their business today. They wanted to use cordless headsets and although they had tried these previously they weren’t a great success. Other modern features such as auto attendant and voicemail were also a necessity. They have different numbers for sales and lettings however it was impossible to tell what number the caller had used.
After meeting with Mark Jackson we were delighted to be able to tick every box on his list of requirements, we also added some extra features as we created the specification.
We installed 10 Snom D725 handsets. These are very high quality and delivered everything we needed. We setup 2 ring groups allowing the Sales and Lettings departments to take calls directly. Calls now overflow to the other departments should they not be answered. Cordless headsets enable the staff members to be able to move around the office whilst on a call, they have hands free operation so they no longer have a handset tucked under their ear. As Jacksons are using our hosted service they are able to take advantage of working from anywhere. For instance they can now work from home and make and receive calls as if they were in the office.
We took the auto attendant to a new level by adding Professional voiceover messages throughout. We also had Professional voiceover created for on hold music, advertising services, plus closed messages for voicemail and bank holidays adding a little extra finesse.
